Aquatic ecotoxicity is a crucial component of every risk assessment. Basic studies on various trophic levels and higher Tier studies are offered for aquatic plants, invertebrates and fish. For many of these we can carry out them in freshwater, marine and water sediment system.
There is a growing interest in replacement methods for animal tests in society as well as in industry and academia. Noackl lab is actively supporting these efforts. We implemented as a possible replacement test for acute fish studies, the fish cell line acute toxicity assay according to OECD 249. This test ist established in our facility under GLP and can be ordered on short notice. We are confident that the study type will be of growing importance in the future and strongly support its use and spreading.
We offer in-house highly sensitive chemical analytics using GC-MS, LC-MS/MS or LC-QTOF. With more than 30 years of experience, we analyze a wide range of substances and degradation products. All chemical methods are fully validated following the most recent guidelines and specifications of regulatory authorities (e.g. SANTE/2020/12830).
